Pride in Place in the UK Webinar

Pride in place is part of the broader ‘affective turn’ in place-based policy, where policymakers have become increasingly interested in people’s emotional connections to place. However, it is challenging to research and measure this elusive concept. This presentation draws on research trialling six creative and sensory methods to access people’s emotional experiences of the high street to put forwards some suggestions of methods which could be deployed to research pride in place.
